The World Lost a Great One

As many of you have already heard, my show Way to Heaven is coming back for a one day engagement in April. We will be presenting the show at the Jewish History Museum and I can't wait. It's something that won't leave my mind.

However, we heard some really bad news the other day. When we originally presented the show, we had a Holocaust survivor named Paul Weiner attend and speak at our talkback. He touched our hearts and souls that night and I like to hope maybe we touched his. We just found out that Mr. Weiner passed away. It's sad to think I just met that man, he touched my life in such a wonderful way, and now he's gone.

Beau is having a hard time with it. She actually read a book with his story and journal entries in it long before we knew he was going to be our speaker. Beau almost cried the moment she realized that this beautifully modest elder man was the same boy she had followed in her book. And of course, she was very upset to hear the news of his death.

We're going to attend the service for Mr. Weiner this Sunday. We will pay our respects to the family alongside some of our other cast mates. We were all touched by this man and his will to survive so many hardships and we want his family to know that.

So, thank you Paul Weiner.
